William E. Finn became CEO of Hospice of the Western Reserve in February, 2011. Prior to coming to Cleveland, Mr. Finn was President and CEO of The Center for Hospice & Palliative Care (CHPC) in Buffalo, New York. Mr. Finn has been in the field of hospice and palliative care for 28 years.
Mr. Finn is Chair of the National Hospice Work Group (NHWG), a think tank for national innovation leadership in hospice and palliative care. He was chair of the Hospice and Palliative Care Association of New York State’s (HPCANYS) in the 1990s and again in 2006 and has served on the Board of Trustees for twenty one years. Mr. Finn is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and has presented at the state and national levels on hospice and healthcare issues, is published in healthcare journals and has consulted across the country.
Mr. Finn received his Master of Business Administration from the State University at Buffalo and his Bachelor of Science from the State University College at Fredonia. Mr. Finn and his wife, Rachel Martinez-Finn, have two sons.
