Hospice of the Western Reserve built a special house 18 years ago. Since we opened our doors, thousands of seriously ill men, women, and children found shelter with us and have helped turn a simple building into a welcoming home.
One Hospice House is no longer enough to care for all those in need.
Expanding our community’s access to exceptional care is why we are building the new Ames Family Hospice House in Westlake. Like the original Hospice House on Cleveland’s East side, the West side facility offers specialized services to those facing serious illness and ongoing programs for their loved ones.
Project Details
Located just off the interstate, at the intersection of Crocker and Clemens Roads, Ames Family Hospice House allows us to better reach the western portion of our six county service area and lessen the stress that cross-town travel creates for many of our families.
This craftsman-inspired residence reflects the architectural aesthetic of the neighborhood. Reminiscent of a rambling family home with gabled roofs, a mixture of brick and wood siding, and half-timber details, Ames Family Hospice House sits on 30 acres.
