Time is a gift that is treasured, but not promised. When a family is caring for a loved one who has a life-limiting illness, its value is priceless. Mark Ribbins of 107.3 FM, The Wave, knows all about the value of time. Hospice of the Western Reserve provided care for his mother. “Mom told us in a family conversation she wanted to live well and comfortably until God called her. She chose to live in the home where she raised her three children, in the room she shared with my father, her husband. Hospice supported our whole family so we could make the most of the time remaining.” Mark, who joined the nonprofit agency’s Board of Directors, shares his story here.
