​Instructions for Joining Virtual Groups via Microsoft Teams

​System Requirements for Installing Microsoft Teams 

Not required for virtual meetings, but highly suggested for best experience.

Windows

• Windows 10 or 8.1 (32 or 64-bit)
However, we have found success with Windows 7
• USB 2.0+ or built-in camera and microphone
• USB, plug in, or built-in speakers

IOS (iPhone or iPad) (Mobile App)

Support is limited to the two most recent major versions of iOS. When a new major version of iOS is released, the new version of iOS and the previous version are officially supported. 

The optional Blur my background video effect on iOS requires an operating system of iOS 12 or later and is compatible with the following devices: iPhone 7 or later, iPad 2018 (6th generation) or later, and the iPod touch 2019 (7th generation).

Android (Mobile App)

Support is limited to the last four major versions of Android. When a new major version of Android is released, the new version and the previous three versions are officially supported.

Browser Requirements 

Minimum requirements for joining virtual meetings as a viewer and to participant.

Windows

• Microsoft Edge
• Microsoft Edge (Chromium-based)
• Google Chrome

Macintosh

• Safari 11.1+ (video not supported, however, audio and viewing presentations are)

Linux

• Google Chrome
• Firefox

Phone Requirements

If a desktop, laptop, or mobile device is not available, participants can call using the phone number including in the invitation. By doing so, they will only be able to listen to and respond verbally to the presentation/meeting but cannot view any video or presentations.
• TTY devices are not supported.
