Often times family members ask how they can honor their loved ones in a concrete way.

There are many ways to pay homage.

Here a few favorites:
  • Light a candle.
  • Put together a scrapbook or collection of favorite photos and memorabilia.
  • Plant a memory garden with flowers and bushes that bloom each year.
  • Create a memorial webpage.
  • Invite folks to a memorial gathering and tell favorite stories.
  • Finish your loved one’s work if they had an incomplete project or were involved in a charitable event or organization.
  • Remember special days, anniversaries, and holidays.
  • Use a favorite recipe that your loved one like to eat or cook.
  • Comfort others.
  • Make a charitable or memorial donation.
