​100 for Hospice raises more than $45,000 for HMC Hospice of Medina County​


​For 11 years, Pat Spoerndle has taken to the links to support HMC Hospice of Medina County with his 100 for Hospice fundraiser. The premise is simple: Pat plays 100 consecutive holes of golf in one day, and his friends in the community donate money to show their support. All the money raised benefits patients and their families served by HMC.

Western Reserve Navigator wins American Hospital Association’s Circle of Life Award


​Hospice of the Western Reserve's palliative care program, Western Reserve Navigator (WRN), has been recognized as one of the most innovative palliative care programs in the nation. The American Hospital Association announced this week that WRN is a 2019 Circle of Life Award winner.

Natural Dye Garden's First Harvest Yields a Bumper Crop


​The natural dye garden we planted earlier this year has yielded its first harvest of indigo leaves! Staff from Praxis Fiber Workshop led Hospice of the Western Reserve staff and volunteers and campers from Waterloo Arts' summer camp in the first harvest.
