​Kick up your heels and get ready for a casual, laid back afternoon of live country music, line dancing, beer tastings, barbecue and raffles - all benefiting HMC Hospice of Medina County, an affiliate of Hospice of the Western Reserve. Boots, Brews and BBQ presented by Sandridge Food Corporation, takes place Sunday, Oct. 20, 3 to 7 p.m., at Thirsty Cowboy, 2743 Medina Rd. Tickets are $50 per person and include a BBQ buffet, beer tasting by Saucy Brew Works and two drink tickets. Basket raffles are also planned.

Live music will be provided by Medina’s own Tyler Reid. Reid and his band have performed at a variety of festivals, fairs, charity events, and honky-tonks from Ohio to Nashville. Venues include Thirsty Cowboy, Jamboree in the Hills, The Grand Ole Opry, and many of Nashville’s favorite clubs. Reid’s sound is influenced by a diverse range of artists, including Waylon Jennings, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Garth Brooks, Vince Gill and Dave Mathews.
